How to Apply

While applicants may contact the participating sites to make preliminary inquiries, they must apply through the Robert Wood Johnson Health & Society Scholars Program office.

Individuals apply through Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's online system, which is available at http://www.healthandsocietyscholars.org/about/howtoapply.phtml between mid-July and mid-October. Applications are screened by RWJF and forwarded to members of the program's National Advisory Committee and program site directors for review. Approximately 50 finalists are selected for interviews at one or more of the participating sites. Approximately 50 finalists are selected for interviews at one or more of the participating sites. After these interviews, up to 18 scholars are selected to enter the program in August or September, depending upon each university's academic calendar.
